What if Meditation was enjoyable and easy?

This course offers a range of somatic (body-centred) guided meditations (5-20 minutes long), that are easy to follow no matter how busy your mind is.

The focus of the course lies on finding pleasure and joy, restoration and nourishment during the valuable alone-time meditation can offer. Making meditation not another chore on the self-care list, but much rather a treat. The luxury of a little bit of quiet time, where we can fill up our own cup.

The space to give ourselves the love and appreciation we all need. Time to remember who we are before our conditioning told us, all that is wrong with us.

The course is trauma-sensitive, incorporating the knowledge, that simply sitting still and watching the mind while traumatic experiences (knowingly or unknowingly) cycle through our system, is not always beneficial. The meditations are designed to soothe trauma-responses through connection with the body in present time (embodiment).

Seven different types of mediation are offered, so that you can chose the one(s) you enjoy most.

Sophia Christine Kahpayah

This course is born from my 10 year-experience as a yoga and meditation teacher and yoga therapist, 1000nds of hours of meditation, 9 months lived in an Ashram setting, three 10-day silent Vipassana meditation retreats, as well as my personal journey of healing from severe childhood trauma and more recently my studies of holistic women’s health, trauma healing, conscious sexuality, menstrual cycle awareness and the functioning of the human nervous system.

What I learned is, there is an old paradigm, that teaches us to wrestle our monkey-minds into submission, to overcome our bodies and to reach for the stars. Often with short-lived disembodied spiritual experiences as the goal. This paradigm left me spiritually filled up, while emotionally, mentally and physically drained. My trauma didn’t heal.

Only when I connected into the new budding paradigm, where the guiding forces are gentleness, compassion and love I began to heal. The way to heal trauma and the general disconnect Western culture has left all of us with, is to love our bodies and to return home to them. Bringing Heaven down to Earth means learning to experience true pleasure in our bodies - opposed to compulsory soothing or numbing. My goal is to show you, that Meditation can be nourishment for body, mind, and soul.
